LeadFuel ("we", "us", or "the Service") operates the LeadFuel platform at lead-fuel.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our web platform, desktop application, and mobile capture features.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of the contacts you capture at events. This policy covers both your account data and the lead data you process through LeadFuel.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and role. Passwords are cryptographically hashed and never stored in plain text.
When you scan badges or business cards, we process the images through AI-powered optical character recognition to extract contact information (names, titles, companies, email addresses, phone numbers). The original images are stored securely in your account. This is your data about your prospects.
The LeadFuel desktop application captures and transcribes booth conversations using on-device AI. This is a critical privacy distinction: no audio data is ever transmitted to LeadFuel servers. All audio processing happens locally on your device. Only the text transcript syncs to the cloud — and only when you choose to sync it.
When leads are processed, we query third-party professional data providers to supplement your captured contacts with additional information such as job title, company size, industry, revenue, and professional background.
We collect standard usage information including pages visited, features used, API calls made, IP addresses, browser type, and device information. This helps us maintain and improve the platform.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. LeadFuel does not directly store your credit card numbers or payment account details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

LeadFuel is a business-to-business platform designed for use by professionals and organizations. The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. LeadFuel is operated from the United States and our cloud infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using LeadFuel, you consent to this transfer.
